True 800230 Evaporator Coil

True 800230 Evaporator Coil

The True 800230 evaporator coil is a commercial replacement part for selected electronic-control true equipment. This version is for newer electronic temperature controls. It does not include the copper sensor sleeve used by older electromechanical controls.

Use the exact part reference when planning a refrigeration repair. The correct coil configuration matters for cabinet clearance, tubing connections and the control arrangement.

G4SM23, GDM23, GDM23LD, GDM23W, GDM26, GEM26, T23, T23F2, T23G, T492G2, TS23, TS232, TUC60D4

Electronic-control units only: the model reference must also match the specified control configuration.

Model references apply only where the serial number and production revision match the equipment parts documentation.

Before you order

Confirm the original coil reference, the overall and finned dimensions, and the inlet and outlet positions. Check any required control or accumulator configuration. A qualified refrigeration technician should confirm the installation requirements and diagnose the original fault.

Frequently asked questions

What is True 800230?

It is a commercial replacement evaporator coil referenced for selected electronic-control true equipment. The evaporator transfers heat from the refrigerated space into the refrigerant circuit.

Can I use 800230 with an older mechanical temperature control?

Do not assume compatibility. This coil is specified for electronic-control units and lacks the copper tube insert used for the sensing element on older electromechanical controls. Confirm the control type and exact coil reference before ordering.

How do I confirm that this coil fits?

Use the complete equipment model, serial number and part reference 800230. Compare the listed dimensions, mounting points and tube connections with the original assembly. A shared cabinet size or similar appearance is not enough to confirm fit.

Will a new coil fix all cooling or icing problems?

No. A confirmed coil leak or physical damage may call for replacement, but poor cooling and repeated icing can also involve airflow, defrost or control faults. Have the cause checked before selecting a replacement.

Are fans and controls included?

This listing identifies the coil and any assembly features explicitly listed in the specifications. Verify fans, controls, heaters, valves and installation hardware separately against the equipment parts diagram.

What information should I have ready before ordering?

Have the complete model and serial number, part reference 800230, and details of the existing coil connections. Call PartsDirectOnline at 631-873-0509 for help checking the reference before placing an order.
