Arctic Air Top Door Hinge — Left or Right

Function and Inspection

A door hinge supports the door and controls its pivot. Check mounting points, pin wear, door alignment and gasket contact before selecting a replacement. A hinge cannot correct a damaged mounting surface.

Before You Order

• Record the complete equipment model and serial number.
• Match the selected option with the original component markings and manufacturer parts diagram.
• Compare left/right orientation, mounting-hole spacing and pin arrangement.
• Provide the equipment model and serial number and an applicable parts diagram or supplier reference. Add component photos only if the documents leave the hinge identity unclear.

Additional Ordering Questions

Can the top-left hinge be reversed to use on the right?

Do not assume a left hinge can be reversed for a right-side installation. Select the listed side and confirm the mounting arrangement against the equipment parts diagram.

Which hinge details should I measure?

Record mounting-hole spacing, the pin arrangement and the shape and position of the mounting plate. Use a dimensioned parts drawing when available; photos can help resolve details not shown in the drawing.

Does this fit every Arctic Air refrigerator?

Select by the complete model, serial number and original part markings; the Arctic Air name alone is not enough to confirm fit.

Will this repair a damaged hinge mounting surface?

No. Inspect the mounting surface, fasteners and door alignment as well as the hinge itself. Damaged supports need separate repair.
