It provides the spring action within the matching hinge assembly; this listing is for the cartridge, rather than a complete hinge or door.

Part details

Manufacturer reference: Fagor

OEM/MPN: 12038130

Component: hinge spring cartridge with stop

Documented part weight: 1.0 lb

Application and ordering

Model references include BB59GS and FUR48. Confirm the model, serial number and hinge revision against the equipment parts diagram before ordering. Compare the removed cartridge and stop arrangement; a similar appearance does not establish fit.

Service considerations

Loss of spring assistance, damaged stops or irregular hinge movement can warrant inspection of this component. Check the hinge housing, pivot, alignment and door loading before attributing the fault to the cartridge. Replacing the spring does not correct worn pivots or a misaligned door.

Frequently asked questions

What is Fagor 12038130?

It is a hinge spring cartridge with a stop for specified commercial refrigeration door assemblies.

Is this a complete hinge?

No. It is the spring cartridge component. Order the matching hinge assembly separately when the housing or pivot also needs replacement.

Which equipment model references are documented?

BB59GS and FUR48 are listed model references.
